Levels of care
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
Real recovery work that fits around real life — small afternoon groups, dual diagnosis, and a curriculum we actually wrote ourselves.

What IOP looks like at Glass House.
IOP · Dual diagnosis · Maryland
The IOP program at Glass House was drafted here, by us. We tossed aside the tired, ineffective approaches in favor of content specifically designed to activate the best versions of the people who walk this path with us.
Sessions run multiple times a week in the afternoon — small groups, art therapy and experiential modalities, dual diagnosis support, and individual therapy alongside. Built so working adults can keep working, and parents can keep parenting, while still doing the actual clinical work.
Who IOP is for.
- Working adults who need real recovery work alongside a job, school, or family — flexible scheduling that respects what’s outside the room.
- People stepping down from PHP or residential who need ongoing structure and accountability without full-day programming.
- People with co-occurring mental health: anxiety, depression, trauma, mood instability — addressed alongside, not after, the substance use work.
- Anyone who’s tried generic outpatient and bounced — IOP at Glass House is smaller, more interactive, and built to engage people who don’t respond to standard scripts.

Insurance & coverage
Most commercial insurance plans accepted.
We verify benefits and walk you through coverage clearly before you commit. No mystery language, no bait-and-switch, no clinical fog. Self-pay is also an option — ask us when you reach out.
Need more structure than IOP?
If you’re early in recovery or stepping down from inpatient, our Partial Hospitalization Program is the higher-intensity option.
