Drug use and mental health issues often prevent people achieving greatness, but we're here to change that.
We founded Glass House as a team of clinicians, artists, and people in recovery who were tired of watching brilliant, struggling individuals get chewed up by broken systems. After years inside traditional treatment models—both as providers and as patients—we kept seeing the same story: shallow care, generic protocols, and people slipping through the cracks.
We knew something different was possible. Not just a program, but a space that treats addiction at the root—through truth, creativity, and real human connection.
Our mission is to help people rebuild lives they don’t need to escape from. We address the core drivers of addiction—trauma, shame, disconnection, and identity collapse—through intensive group work, individual therapy, and creative process. The experience is immersive, honest, and built to hold the weight of transformation. This isn’t behavior management. This is learning how to carry your humanity without collapsing into the comfort of your own destruction.

Our Center
Glass House is located in the heart of Old Ellicott City, in a beautiful and discreet converted industrial space. Our space is private, comfortable, engaging and built for a creative mind. We’re a close drive from Baltimore, Columbia, Washington DC and Annapolis.
We believe recovery should feel alive. That clinical work can coexist with creativity. That therapy doesn’t have to feel like punishment. That pain isn’t proof of failing. And that healing doesn’t have to be hollow.
