Financial hardship policy.

At Glass House Recovery, we believe financial concerns should never become an unnecessary barrier to seeking behavioral healthcare. We also recognize that every person’s financial situation is different and that circumstances can change unexpectedly.

Our goal is to be transparent about financial responsibility while providing a fair and consistent process for patients experiencing genuine financial hardship. Because each situation is unique, requests for financial consideration are evaluated individually using established criteria. This allows us to make thoughtful decisions while remaining consistent with our policies and the requirements of health plans and applicable regulations.

Patients who believe they are experiencing a significant financial hardship may request consideration by completing a Financial Hardship Application.

Submission of an application does not guarantee approval. Each request is reviewed individually based on the information provided and any supporting documentation that may be requested.

When appropriate, an approved hardship determination may include accommodations such as payment arrangements or a reduction of eligible patient financial responsibility.

Unless a hardship request has been approved in writing, patients remain responsible for all applicable copayments, deductibles, coinsurance, non-covered services, and other amounts for which they are responsible under their health plan or financial agreement.

Financial hardship determinations apply only to the specific circumstances reviewed and may require updated information for future consideration.
